The Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank just released its quarterly Survey of Professional Forecasters, which shows more optimism about 2010, and a little more optimism regarding 2011. Here's the picture of the new forecasts compared to the old:
The change isn't dramatic, but I recommend looking at these consensus forecasts in two ways:
- What's the forecast?
- How has the forecast changed?
So the forecast itself shows moderate growth, and the direction of the change in the forecast is positive.
